Tya Hollimon

Tya Hollimon is a reporter for The Riptide and is currently a senior at Vashon Island High School. She began her education at Chautauqua Elementary, continued on to McMurray Middle School, and is finishing her high school career at Vashon Island High School. Tya’s role as a reporter for The Riptide is her first and only experience with publishing and reporting, although she has enjoyed writing for many years. She looks forward to learning more about the world of publishing and expanding her skills in writing and reporting. Outside of school Tya loves ceramics and drawing and spends lots of time doing these activities.
