Why I love Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish is a very talented, young artist. She has been through so much trauma in her life, and her way of coping with it and spreading awareness is by making music. Billie Eilish is one of the most popular music artists in this generation and has millions of fans who love and support her every single day.

Billie is a 23 year old woman with no kids, but makes the most out of her life and is a huge inspiration. But what has she gone through? Why do people love her so much? Well there's no one reason why people love her so much; everyone has their own reasons that are all valid, but here are four reasons why I love Billie Eilish.

I’ve been a fan of Billie since I was about 6 years old (around the time she came out with the song ‘Bad Guy’), so I’d say I’m a pretty old fan. I really love her music because it’s relatable in regards to mental health and personal experiences that I’ve gone through that are similar to what she sings about. My favorite song of hers is ‘Getting Older’ (I highly recommend listening to it). It's about coming of age and realizing that she isn’t a kid anymore. I find it really inspirational and I think a lot of high school students can relate to it (especially seniors).

My second reason why I love Eilish is because she is a survivor of many really traumatic things such as, rape, SA, abuse, and many more. I really admire her for surviving all of that and pushing forward even through her darkest moments. Billie is really a huge inspiration and I strive to be like her everyday.

Another reason I love Billie Eilish is she’s just a really good person in general. I know it’s hard to tell what a celebrity is really like or what kind of person they really are outside of the spotlight, but Billie has given amazing advice, is extremely kind to all of her fans, and other celebrities have said that Billie is one of the most kind, and accepting people they have ever met.

My fourth and final reason is, Billie Eilish cares about the world. Not only is she vegan, but she also sells recyclable things such as water bottles, shirts, necklaces, and much more! Billie always encourages everyone to pick up trash on the beaches, recycle, and to not litter, and because Eilish is such a huge inspiration to millions of people it has actually worked! She gets more and more people to care about the planet everyday.

That is why I love Billie Eilish, and why she’s one of my favorite celebrities. She has saved many lives with her music, and another main reason why so many people love her is because of how relatable she is. Last month was mental health and sexual assault awareness month. I think everyone should try to learn someone's story before hating them or having assumptions about them, Just like how people hate on Billie Eilish for being ‘emo’ or ‘overrated’. Because learning someone’s story can really change people’s perspective on things.
