Zelda Davis

Zelda Davis (She/Her), sophomore, is one of the many reporters for The Riptide. Growing up on Vashon, she has always liked reading about her community and finds enjoyment in keeping people updated on local activities, especially the arts. She also has always thought the idea of having students give their opinions and information in this form of content is a great way to spread a younger point of view to many different people. Her main attributes to the riptide have been surrounding Vashon and its upcoming events, along with more important topics such as the commemoration of community members.

This is her first time working on a newspaper and is hoping to get the opportunity to improve her writing and storytelling through her articles. She believes that the upcoming issues will be very engaging as many of her fellow reporters have interesting ideas and opinions about what is going on in the school and all over the world. She hopes you enjoy her articles and return to the newspaper for each new edition.
